We are available to come into schools to work with the children on large or small projects. We can work with a small group or the whole class on topics which fit into the National Curriculum, after discussions with the school.

We have helped teachers to develop their own pottery skills and have led several INSET courses.

We are also equipped for schools to visit the pottery, which normally includes a demonstration of pottery techniques and an opportunity for the children to make something. (Max attendance: 30)

Other organisations, adult or child-based, can also visit the pottery in the evening. In the past we have catered for WI groups, farmers’ clubs and uniformed organisations.

Visits by groups can be arranged at the pottery. They will include a brief tour and then the opportunity to create their own piece of pottery. All materials are provided.

Classes and short courses are also run from time to time. Please contact us to find the date of the next one!

All the staff have enhanced CRB checks.
